Kevin and Angela's family, if you get this message, i am truly sorry for the loss. My name is Mike. My 16 year old son and I were skiing that day. Her accident was 10 feet from where we were standing while resting. We both ran over to Kevin, got down on the ground beside Angela and tried to help as best we could. I am so sorry for everything. My son and i are forever changed having witnessed such tragedy first hand. You will be missed. Sincerely, Mike Simmons.

I worked closely with CPT Erale while stationed in Germany and during our deployment to Iraq OIF 07-09. She was an amazing spirit, not to mention hilarious, and probably one of the best bosses I have ever had the pleasure of working for. I was heartbroken when I heard the news and am still in shock. I will continue to pray for her entire family, friends, and fellow Soldiers. The loss of CPT Erale is tremendous and I can only hope that the hole left in all of our hearts can one day be patched with our memories of her.

It is always sad to lose a loved one in death. Please allow the many fond memories you shared with her to always bring smiles to your faces until such time you can make many more with her when "God's will will be done on earth as it is in heaven". Matthew 6:9,10. My condolences to you.
