Bassel was my bowling companion for the past 35 years. I have never known a finer man. He loved our sport and participated to the end. There is a special place in our hearts for such a warm and creative soul. I will treasure his memory always.

Bassel was such an inspired artist whose reference library was a sight to behold in his studio. His love of Western landscapes, animals, ranching scenes, and American Indian art gave his art that special flair. He was a true flagship artist for El Paso, and his loss deeply saddens me. Bassel was a wonderful, kind gentleman, and his family can be very proud of the wonderful legacy he has left. RIP Bassell.

Thank you Bassel, friend of my parents, Mr. Wolfe to me, and wonderful father to my friends members of your family. I loved your artwork and the genetics that were passed to your offspring, they honor your memory forever. I enjoyed our visit with you & Peggy, when you attended my mother’s memorial art show and your son Perry and daughter Michaela at our 40th High school reunion, they were my friends when we were little and in high school and in my art classes. I recall Tanya as well and Shelby whom I very much admired and as facebook friends still do , so I send my love hugs and condolences to them through my message to you. Bless forever your memory through the family legacy, artwork and may it immortalize your talents and moments that you shared from your heart and soul.
Pleasure to know you sir.
Love to Peggy too,
Ed
