Bassel was my bowling companion for the past 35 years. I have never known a finer man. He loved our sport and participated to the end. There is a special place in our hearts for such a warm and creative soul. I will treasure his memory always.

Bassel was such an inspired artist whose reference library was a sight to behold in his studio. His love of Western landscapes, animals, ranching scenes, and American Indian art gave his art that special flair. He was a true flagship artist for El Paso, and his loss deeply saddens me. Bassel was a wonderful, kind gentleman, and his family can be very proud of the wonderful legacy he has left. RIP Bassell.
