Dear Zelma and family:
Belated sympathy to all of you. We share in your rememberances of Bob , a great guy with a warm smile and friendly personality.
Dave remembers working with him on architectural projects at the University, where he was very helpful sharing his expertise and ideas. It was amazing to hear of someone on the roof of a building at 8:00 pm, only to find it was Bob, working overtime on a project. Bob also helped many local churches and non- profits in town for little or no compensation. He was a credit to his profession.
Dave enjoyed time spent together, having coffee, and especially talking about our stamp collections.
Again, our sympathy to you all.

Bob was a very kind and likeable guy who our family knew from our summers at Edinboro Lake. Even though Bob worked in Erie at an architectural firm well past retirement age, he would always stop by if he saw us and catch up. On weekends he would come by and weed and even in later years when his health was failing, he wanted the properties to be well taken care of. One year he sent us pictures of the flowers blooming around the cottage in the spring before we arrived from Pittsburgh. We will miss Bob. He was a soft-spoken gentleman and we thought very highly of him. May he rest in peace.
