So many stories we swore we'd take to our graves & I fully aim to keep my end of that bargain! But the funny, silly warm & over the top escapades I know she wouldn't care if I shared.........to be continued! There were scary times, sad times& honestly rifts in our friendship but neither of us ever stopped caring deeply for each other. Overall it was the laughter that brings me solace & pain. The experts say losing a sibling is the hardest grief to recover from because literally from the cradle they are the people one shares the most memories with. I won't pretend to intimate that our bond was that strong but our affection respect & trust was genuine & so deep that our friendship will always remain with me. Someday they may even just make me smile. To her large & diverse clan I can only offer my deepest condolences & remain all ways so very grateful that you shared her with me. Sorry it took me so long to post but it was hard & required many re-writes. I know someday I'll be able to say "Hello, Gorgeous" to her again! Rest in Peace my "bestest"

I am deeply saddened and my heart grieves with your family during this difficult time. Karen was a beautiful person who was loved and will be missed by her Pleasant Ridge Manor family. I always enjoyed my interactions with Karen. Thank you for allowing us to care for Karen. May your memories bring comfort and peace and may Karen now rest in the arms of our loving God.
