Ryan Michael Droney

1989 - 2021

On Monday, April 5, 2021, Ryan Michael Droney, went to be with the Lord. He was born in Erie on July 18, 1989.

Ryan was very passionate about helping others. He made sure others were fed, loved and taken care of before himself. He would give the clothes off his back to anyone. Ryan enjoyed video games when he wasn't caring for others. He also enjoyed playing and listening to music. He loved camping with his Aunt and cousins. Ryan's baseball days were memorable, as he sat in the outfield, waiting for a fly ball. He was an avid Erie sports fan, attending Erie SeaWolves and Otters games to cheer on his home team. Ryan especially enjoyed time spent with his family.

Ryan is survived by his fiancée, Chelsea Seyler; his parents, Bruce and Jeanne Buckel Droney; two sisters, Lisa Albertson (Nick) and Stephanie Droney (Brandon); one brother and best friend, Nicholas Droney; seven aunts, Sharon Swigonski (Leo), Susan Shumac (John), Maureen Buckel (Ellen), Evie Radziszewski, Denise Wodarski, Vera Buckel (Jason), and Tammy Droney; two uncles, Hugh Buckel (Valentina), and Rick Wodarski; and many numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mary Ann and Hubert Buckel, and Laurence and Yvonna Droney; two uncles, Lloyd Droney and Jack Radziszewski; one aunt, Yvonne Miller; and one niece, Mila Droney.

Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd., on Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service there at 8 p.m. conducted by Fr. Jerry Priscaro. Memorial contributions may be made to Ryan's family through the funeral home.
