Carol Witzel Obituary

Carol Ann Witzel, 76, of Bartlesville passed away at 4:20 a.m. Tuesday at Bartlesville Care Center.
A Memorial Service is scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday in the Walker-Brown Chapel with Rev. Charles McCarthy officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Walker-Brown Funeral Home.
Carol Ann (Schultz) Witzel was born November 29, 1933 in Bartlesville, OK to George and Clissa (Lynch) Schultz. Carol was a real people person and enjoyed being around family and friends. She developed an admirable relationship with the staff and residents of Bartlesville Care Center during her stay. She was always concerned for the residents and staff at the Center and countless others.
Carol had a strong love for the Lord Christ our Savior, family, and friends. She strived to set an example for her family and to provide a Christian foundation for them and many others. She will be very missed as a lady of Christ and a strong prayer warrior.
Carol is survived by one son, Layne Witzel and wife Janet of Bartlesville. Two brothers; David and Dennis Shultz and sister, Sandy Cunningham. Four grandchildren; Kevin, Kara, Kyle and Cameron. Four great grandchildren numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, husband of her children, Hubert Witzel, son, Ronnie Witzel and two brothers, Jerry and Jim Schultz.
