Michael Cantwell Obituary
Michael Wayne Cantwell, 65, of Blue Springs, Mo., passed away unexpectedly on November 2, 2017, in Kansas City, Mo.
He was born November 27, 1951, in Topeka, Kan., to Wayne and Vivian (Lambert) Cantwell. Mike spent the majority of his working career as an electrician and was a long-time member of the IBEW Local #124. He had a zest for life and enjoyed riding motorcycles. Above all, he loved his family and friends, and was always looking out for others.
Survivors include his mother, Vivian, of Blue Springs, Mo.; two sons, Robert Cantwell and wife, Amber, of Kansas City, Mo., and Michael Cantwell and wife, Leeann, of Lee's Summit, Mo.; a brother, David Cantwell and wife, Vicki, of Blue Springs, Mo.; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father and a son, Benjamin Michael Cantwell.
A funeral service celebrating Mike's life will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8, at the Meyers Funeral Chapel, 1600 W. Main St., Blue Springs; 816-229-3276. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow in Blue Springs Cemetery.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the ASPCA, as Mike was an avid animal lover.
