I believe that everyone who comes into your life makes an impact reguardless of how small it may be. Mr. Caulfield had the ability to make an impact on hundreds of students lifes. He was a great man and will be dearly missed. I give my condolences to his family and pray that God gives you the strength you need. However you must remember that God has a greater plan for us and he needed Mr. Caulfield more then we needed him. He's getting the greatest gift of all; to be with the Lord. R.I.P. "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you.

Jimmy,
I was very fortuate to have coached not only a great talent but a real super kid. It is a real sad time for me and all the people whose lives you touched at Notre Dame High School. Your 2 free throws with 2 seconds left that won the New England Catholic Championship showcased your confident talent, yet it was your infectious personality that made us all laugh that will also be forever fresh in my memories. Those were special times. You were a special person who has left us with many wonderful memories.

Mr. Caulfield taught math to both of my children at Lely High School. They enjoyed his personality and had fun learning from him. So glad I had the chance to thank him at the Lely open house. He will be missed.

Oh Jim, you're too young to not be here. You've touched many hearts and minds, including ours. Good person, great teacher, leader, hard-working, intelligent, kind - those are just some of the words we think of when we think of you. We are grateful for the time we were able to work together. May God wrap you in His loving arms with peace and grant that peace to all your friends and family. And, like Lyndsey said, please say 'Hi' to Larry for us. You both are missed.

Jim, Lely High School will miss you always. Our kids have lost a well respected teacher; our faculty and staff have lost a colleague and a friend. May you rest in peace, and may your family take comfort in the heartfelt messages of your Lely family. You will be missed.

It breaks my heart to have to write this, yet I know you are in a better place. Thank you for your time, dedication, and love to teaching, especially at Lely High School. When I think about my time at LHS as a student, some of those memories include you teaching me math. Although, you are no longer with us, we will never forget you! The neighborhood has lost a great friend but Heaven has gained one heck of a teacher! To the Caulfield family: You are all in our thoughts and prayers as you head down this difficult path. The LHS family will be thinking of all of you.
