Mr. Goff was born in Alexandria, La., a son of the late Hardy and Audrey Goff. He attended the University of Alabama and Florence-Darlington Technical College. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War.
He was a member of Central United Methodist Church and the Masterworks Choir. He retired after 20 years as a manager for Young Brothers Corp. and was a former manager of Nucor Steel Co. Credit Union.
Surviving are his wife, Rose Marie Lyerly Goff of the home; three daughters, Rhonda Goff-Terweij, Natasha (Kent) Buckner and Nicole Goff, all of Charleston; a grandson, Coleman Buckner of Charleston; a sister, Mona Goff (Russell) Bond of New Orleans; and two brothers, Jim (Stephanie) Goff of Dallas and Paul Hardy (Joan) Goff of Hammond, La.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 950 48th Ave. North, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. today in Central United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the Poston Cemetery near Pamplico, directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
