Mildred R. Richardson, 93, of Melbourne, died September 2, 2013 in Melbourne.
Born in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, she was an artist and had the first private show at the Brevard Art Museum in October of 2009.
Mildred is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Beth and Tom Frazee; son, James Richardson; son and daughter-in-law; Grant and Teresa Richardson; granddaughter, Melissa Frazee; grandsons, Josh and Jeremiah Richardson; 4 great-grandchildren; and sister; Mary McKinnon.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 7, 10:30-11:00am at the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, funeral services will follow at 11:00 am in the Church.

Beth, Grant, and Jim: sorry to hear of your mom's passing. I will always have fond memories of her. She encouraged me to draw and be creative - both of which became important skills in my family life and profession. I especially love to remember her snappy banter with my mother and others - often while playing cards.

Mildred was a lovely lady and a beautiful artist and teacher. I enjoyed her Plein Air classes as well as her company at the Guild. She will be greatly missed.

Mildred could be seem painting with her artist' friends for many years. We will miss you dear Mildred.

Mildred was one of our first neighbors in Melbourne - 1971. We will always remember her by the drawings she did of our two boys, which still hang in our foyer. So sorry for your loss. Carol and Jim Neff.
