Elsie Lawrence Obituary

WATERLOO - Elsie A. Lawrence, 91, formerly of Arrowhead Lane, Waterloo, passed away Monday (Sept. 28, 2009) at the Seneca Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Friends and family are invited to attend Elsie's funeral service at 11 a.m. Friday (Oct. 2, 2009) at DeVaney-Bennett & Simons Funeral Home, 181 N. Main St., Geneva, with Charles Boals officiating. Burial will follow in Sandhill Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Happiness House, 731 Pre-Emption Road, Geneva 14456.
Elsie was born May 1, 1918, in Elyria, Ohio, to the late William and Florence Boals Truesdale. After relocating to the Geneva area with her family, she later married Eugene K. Lawrence, who predeceased her in 2006. Elsie, who was employed by McCurdy's for a number of years, was a loving home maker and friend and will be missed by those who knew and loved her.
Elsie is survived by her brother, Arthur Truesdale of Waterloo; as well as four nieces; and two nephews.

I MISS MY AUNT ELSIE AND UNCLE GENE BEYOND WORDS. THEY WERE ALWAYS SO LOVING TO THEIR NIECES AND NEPHEWS. ALL THE TRIPS TO SANTA LAND AND I ALSO HAD THE WONDERFUL OPPORTUNITY TO WORK WITH HER AT MC'CURDYS. WE ALL LOVE YOU BOTH AND KNOW YOU ARE FINALLY TOGETHER IN PEACE, LOVE AND HEALTH.MARGO L.
