RAYMOND M. GLOWACKI, 86, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2010, at The Towne House Retirement Center in Fort Wayne. Born in Grand Rapids, Mich., he was a WWII Navy Veteran. He was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church and the Polish National Alliance. He worked as a bookkeeper for various companies including Viking Fire Protection where he later became a branch manager. He later worked as a line operator with Falstaff Brewery for 9 years, retiring in 1989. Surviving are his son, Paul (Natalka) Glowacki of Fort Wayne; daughter, Patricia Glowacki of Fort Wayne; brother, Edward Glowacki; granddaughter, Caroline Glowacki of Fort Wayne; grandson, Will Glowacki of Fort Wayne; sisters-in-law, Anita (Sam) Siciliano and Camilia Fulvi; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Louise V. Glowacki in 1997; parents, Martin and Martha Glowacki; sister, Evelyn Biedrycki; and grandson, John Michael (Jack) Glowacki. Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 25, 2010 at St. Henry Catholic Church, 2929 E Paulding Road. with calling one hour prior. Rev. Daniel Durkin officiating. Visitation also from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 24, 2010 at D.O. McComb & Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, 6301 Fairfield Avenue, with Rosary at 4:30pm. Burial in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne, Ind. Memorials may be made to St. Henry Catholic Church or Catholic Charities.
