Hiedi Baker Obituary
Born in Frederick on July 14, 1999 she was a daughter of Kevin M. Baker, Myersville and Nedra M. Paugh, Shanks, WV.
Hiedi loved school; was an honor student at Middletown High School and was loved by so many. She had a smile that would warm your heart and enjoyed spending so much time with her cousin Ashley Grossnickle. She also loved Yvonne Tobery coming and giving her makeovers and manicures.
Surviving, besides her parents, are:
step-mother - Melissa Hollifield
step-father - Brian Platt
sisters: Marilyn (Hope) Baker, Ashlie Keener, Cheyenne Thompson
brothers:Kevin (Matthew) Baker Jr., Michael Keener, Joey Butt
Grandmothers: Patricia Baker, Nedra Tucker, Lois Stitley
Grandfather - Wayne Klipp
and many other aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by grandfathers: Richard M. Baker and Miles Lee Paugh
The family will receive friends on Friday Janaury 16 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the Donald B. Thompson Funeral Home, 31 E. Main St., Middletown. Funeral services will be held 11 AM on Saturday January 17 from the Harmony Church of the Brethren, 3924 Brethren Church Rd., Myersville. Rev.Lerry Fogle will officiate. Interment will be made in the Harmony Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Myersville.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Kevin Baker, her father.

All you had to do was meet Heidi one time and you automatically fell in love with her. Even with everything she was going through her warmth, love , and caring for other people surrounded her..you could actually feel it. She will always be loved..she is impossible to forget. My heart goes out to Kevin, Melissa,their families and all of the people who were lucky enough to have Hiedi in their lives.

I was fortunate to be able to work with Hiedi as one of her assistants at MHS. She was such a kind, loving, sweet soul. I loved to see her beautiful smile each day. She has touched my life and for that I am forever grateful. My wishes for healing and peace are with your family.

I was Hiedi's art teacher in middle school and I really liked having her in my class. She was always so positive and excited to make art. Her work was really lovely and she was always participating in class discussions. I know she made an impact on everyone she met, and that is something we can all aspire to.
