Theodore Walling Obituary

Walling

Theodore L. 91, of Clawson, passed away on September 5, 2017. Ted is preceded in death by his parents, Theodore H. and Ernestine Walling. Ted is survived by his loving wife Marlys of 64 years, his sisters; Ernamarie, Patsy, and Marilyn, his children; Theodore F. (Maria Patti), Heidi Hoyer (Joseph), Paul (Mary), and grandchildren; Elizabeth, Brandon, Joshua, and Nicholas, numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.  Prior to his retirement, Ted was an automotive parts buyer for Volkswagen and Webasto Roof Systems.  He loved astronomy, tennis, golf, and music.  Ted was an accomplished baritone and soloist at Shrine of the Little Flower in Royal Oak, Church of Divine Science, and Christian Unity in Birmingham, Michigan.  He had a wonderful sense of humor that brought joy and laughter to all.  A celebration of Ted's life will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2017, 2-6pm at Country Club Village Clubhouse, 655 E. Nawakwa Rd, Rochester Hills, MI. 48307.
