- - May 7, 2018. Dear father of Maria Cancro, Diane Cancro, Katy Colletto (Jim) and Dan Cancro. Grandfather of Grace, Mia and Jake. Brother of Anthony, Americo (Bea) and Vincenza. Family will receive friends Thursday 3-8 p.m. with Prayers at 7 p.m. at A.J. Desmond & Sons Funeral Home, 2600 Crooks Rd. (Between Maple and Big Beaver), 248-362-2500. Funeral Mass Friday 10 a.m. at Holy Name Catholic Church, 630 Harmon, Birmingham. Visitation at church begins at 9 a.m. Memorial tributes to Loyola High School.

I really liked Frank. I knew him in his humor and our role playing Mafia-like scenes and then laughing alot about our silliness. I also knew something of his sufferings and humble regrets. He did well in trying to stay close to Christ. I admire his generosity to the poor here in Kenya and also the poor of Detroit. May he bask in the eternal mercy and warm welcome of the risen Jesus. I will be offering a mass for Frank on May 25.
