GEORGENE NIDY

Georgene Nidy was born in Pittsburgh, PA, and graduated from the Art institute of Pittsburgh, where she met her husband of 59 years, Robert Nidy. Georgene was a caring loving mother grandmother and wife. She and Bob maintained art galleries in Carmel, CA, and Fresno, CA. Mom taught art at Hallmark Charter and VROP. Georgene wishes to thank the staff and students for loving support and amazing memories. Mrs. Nidy is survived by her husband Bob; children, Puddy Alfred Garen, and Jeff; daughter-in-law Tanya; and two grandchildren, for which near the end of her journey, she fought everyday for yet another moment of life to spend with Louden and Logan. Mom was loved and cared for by so many in her lifetime. Her parents, George and Inez Mazuran; sister Caroline. Much love to her extended family, Stan Kranzler, Norma Edwards, and family; Rita Doll Jody, and Susan Ruble, and family; Carrie Hong and family; Scott, Jeff, Dan, and Tom and Louise Nidy; Pam Knox and family, for always treating her like an angel. Georgene's wishes were to not inconvenience others in her passing, so per her wishes, no service is planned. Those who loved her and knew her have the memories of sharing precious moments of life with her. She supported cancer and animal rescue groups. She really loved dogs. Nothing ever could make mom happier than to have someone who loved her rescue a animal from a shelter or even off the streets. "God will bless you mom we will miss you always.'
