Marion Patton Obituary
Gaffney, S.C. - Marion Quinn Patton, 53, of 113 Guest Ridge Lane, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Born in Gaffney, he was the son of the late Donald E. Patton Sr. and Janet Quinn Patton. He was a 1987 graduate of Wofford College and a 1990 graduate of USC with a bachelor of science in Pharmacy. He was a member of the Gamecock Club and loved Star Wars. He was a Pharmacist at Buford Street Drug Store, member of the Gaffney Lions Club and Broad River Antique Power Association. Mr. Patton was a member of First Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Drew Patton and Carter Patton, both of Gaffney; two daughters, Isabella Patton and Sydney Patton, both of Gaffney; a brother, Charlie Patton and wife, Michelle of Gaffney; two nieces, Jan Patton and Miranda Patton, both of Gaffney; and a nephew, Clayton Patton. Mr. Patton was preceded in death by a brother, Donald E. "Don" Patton Jr.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at Blakely Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at First Baptist Church with Dr. Tommy Huddleston officiating. Interment will be in Grassy Pond Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: First Baptist Church, "Care Ministry", 200 N. Limestone Street, Gaffney, SC, 29340.
The family will be at the residence.
