Dear Sorum Family,
I was just reading the obituary on Helen and noted that she served as an Army Nurse in WW II. I am retired from the USAF Nurse Corps and always looking for female vets and letting them know about WIMSA---which is located at the gates to Arlington National Cemetery. It is a memorial to Women in Military Service to America. They want all female veterans to be registered there. I hope you will take the time to register Mrs. Sorum. WIMSA can be contacted at 1-800-222-2294.
I offer you all my sincere sympathy in the loss of your loved one.
Sincerely,
Kathy Rogenes
