James Sazenski Obituary

James Adam Sazenski, 48, of Great Falls, died of undetermined natural causes Monday at his home.
His memorial service is 2 p.m. Saturday at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel. Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
James Adam "Jim" Sazenski was born Jan. 26, 1962. He grew up in Minnesota, later moving to Sun River, then to Great Falls.
Jim spent the last year and a half with his mother in Denver. He was in the process of moving to the Bitterroot Valley at the time of his death.
Jim was an avid gardener and loved hunting, fishing and especially telling the many stories of his life. He always looked forward to spending time at the river with his kids, telling them "we're going to have fun in the sun at Sun River." He loved playing grandpa to Shandon and Shanna's kids, Madison, Lansten and Marcus. Jim was one of the kindest and most caring men you would ever meet.
He is survived by his beloved children Alex and Lauren Sazenski, both of Minnesota; his siblings, Ann (Hill) Bleakley of Minneapolis, Minn., Mary (Matthew) Sazensky of St. Paul, Minn., and John (Dani) Sazenski of Ireland; nieces and nephews; and his companion of the last seven years, Leoda "Ody" Christopherson of Florence, Mont., and her two daughters, Shandon and Shanna of Great Falls.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Marion.

Sazenski Family,
I am very sorry for your loss. I worked for Jim at Jesco, and while it wasn't always easy there are some good memories. Jim loved to talk about Montana and potatoes. He brought a litter of puppies in for us to play with one day. He played croquet with a group of us in the Jesco front yard and would laugh and laugh when he got to hit somebody's ball across the street. Good memories.

To my cousin Jim I tried to get in touch with you many times as you only lived 40 miles away. To bad I am so sad. Now I just have to wait to see you in heaven.
