Kathleen M. "Kathy" Feller

Appleton - Passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the age of 81. Kathy was born on February 18, 1937 in Green Bay WI. She attended St. Norbert College where she earned a BS in biology. From there she attended UW-Oshkosh and received her Masters degree in Library Science. Kathy worked at Pulaski, Freedom, and Stockbridge Schools teaching a variety of subjects including English and Library Science.

Kathy enjoyed yoga (mostly the post yoga camaraderie), Bridge Club, the YMCA, and any lunch or dining experiences with friends. Kathy was very active whether with travel, golf, or her social calendar. She was a strong animal advocate and loved all animals - but mostly dogs. She enjoyed time with family and would go anywhere to see her grandchildren's events. Some of her many volunteer activities include serving at Appleton Medical Center, area homeless shelters, Appleton Humane Society, League of Women Voters, and Friends of Appleton Library.

In 1960 she married William (Bill) Feller and enjoyed 56 years of marriage, travel, Packer games, Friday fish, and friends.

Kathy is survived by her sister Joanne Burns; children; Ann (Bret) Ballinger, Patti Jo Feller, John (Jane) Feller; grandchildren David, Erin, Katie, Stephi, Charlie; great grandchild Forest; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mom was a fun-loving soul and will be missed greatly.

Funeral Liturgy will be held Saturday January 12, 2019 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 410 Lawrence St, at 11:00 AM with Fr. Jim Leary, O.F.M. Cap. presiding. Visitation at the church from 9:00 AM until time of service.
