Alva Robinson Obituary
XENIA — Alva Robinson, age 79, of Xenia, passed away Friday, April 9, 2021 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born April 11, 1941 in Pike County, Kentucky the son of Dennis Robinson and Helen (Bartley) Childers. In addition to his parents, Al was preceded in death by his wife: Barbara (Stidd) Robinson and the mother of his children: Mary Robinson. He is survived by 3 children: Alva Jr. (Larry Allinder) of FL; Susan (Robert) Turner of Fairborn and Rance Robinson of Xenia; step children: Doug Mick of Miamisburg, and Jason (April) Mick of Xenia; 2 grandchildren: Dana (Megan) Kilner and Joseph (Sarah) Madelans, 6 great grandchildren: Ryleigh, Jared, Travis, Destini, Aidan and Chase. Al was a cabinet maker and the owner of Buckeye Cabinets. He was a member of Bethel Community Church. He was a hardworking man and loved his family. Services will be held 1:30 PM Wednesday, April 14th at McColaugh Funeral Home Inc. 826 N. Detroit Street, Xenia with Rev. John Lockwood officiating. He will be buried at Woodland Cemetery, Xenia. Visitation will be held 12:30 PM Wednesday until the time of service at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.mccolaughfuneralhome.com.
