Fred Russel Moore

Greenville

Fred Russel Moore, 65, of Greenville, husband of Carol Satterfield Moore, died Tuesday, May 5, 2015.

Born in Dacusville, he was a son of the late Sherman and Christine Grice Moore.

Fred was of the Baptist faith and retired from Duffle Tax Service after 20 years. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his son and grandchildren.

Surviving, in addition to his loving wife of 49 years, is a son, Ricky Moore (Michelle); three grandchildren, Christopher Brent Moore (Casi), and Zack and Ryan Bayne; one great grandson, Ryder Moore; and five brothers and sisters, Bill Moore (Betty), Mildred Duffle (Jim), Molly Pack (Roger), all of Greenville, Martha Riddle (Terry) of VA, and Frank Moore (Linda) of Liberty.

He was preceded in death by a son, Chris Moore.

The visitation will be held Friday, May 8, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Graceland East Memorial Park.

The family will be at their respective homes.

Just found out today about Mr Fred's passing. He was a wonderful man, alway's smiling. He filed my taxes for over 20 years. Looked forward to getting my taxes done and catching up on what the grandchildren were up to. God bless you all

Fred truly was a kind soul. He was always friendly, always smiling, and always explained the tax things so that I understood. From the short time that I spent with him every year filing my taxes, I know he loved his family and he loved fishing...he will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I loved Fred, For 48 years we had lots of fun together. We had two of the most beautiful children. I will miss him very much. he was my rock, We got married when in our teens and people said it wouldn't last. But we staied to gether through good times and the bad. I WILL truly miss him more than any boby will every know. with all my love my darling HUSBAND; your WIFE.
