GOLD, Richard J. 56, of Middletown, died Saturday, September 15, 2012. He was born in Middletown, Ohio on February 6, 1956 to parents Richard G. and Ruth (Force) Gold. Mr. Gold is survived by his brother, Bob Gold; sisters, Cathy Janeway, Jane Gold, Maryruth (Tony) Gerstner and nephews, Mike (Michelle) Trovillo and Brandon Janeway niece, Jennifer Trovillo; step mother, Catherine F. Gold. Rick was preceded in death by his parents. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church, 1405 First Avenue, Middletown with Father John Civille as celebrant. There will be no visitation. Memorial donations may be made to Holy Family Parish, 201 Clark Street, Middletown, OH 45042. Please sign the guest book online at WilsonSchrammSpaulding.com

I worked with Richard at SUMCO. What a gentleman. I can't tell you the effect his journey to the Lord's home has had on me. I look forward to seeing my brother in Christ when it is my time. Bless his family for taking such good care of him.

Had know Rick as a youth and had the pleasure of working with him. Rick was always very pleasant and mannerable towards others and will be missed.
