Mr. and Mrs. O'Brien, Jimmy, and Cathy, I am so saddened to hear of Karen's passing. Karen was a beautiful person. She must have contributed so much to her community in the Lancaster PA area as a physician. Looking back on our childhood together on Parkwood Dr. and as classmates in Loomis-Chaffee, I admire her dedication to academia, going on to become a doctor. Karen was always very kind to me, whether I deserved it or not. She was a great person and I was very lucky to know her growing up.

Mr & mrs OBrien, Jimmy & Cathy - I was so shocked and saddened to hear about Karen. I have many, many happy memories of our innocent, goofy times on Parkwood Drive and at the lake house! She and I were inseparable as kids and I had always thought we would connect again at some point and laugh at ourselves and our misadventures. Sending my sincerest condolences and love to all of you. Karen was one of the kindest, gentlest souls I've ever known. May she rest in peace and may Bob, Sally, Cathy and Jim find strength in loving memories.

Dr. O'Brien was my family physician in Lancaster in 1993. I not only valued her care, but I really liked her as a person. She left the practice soon after that, and I missed her gentle manner and genuine care and concern. My sincere condolences to her family. She was a good physician and person.
