Natalie Pilling DeMars

Natalie (Pilling) DeMars passed away on Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012, at Merry Heart Health Care Center in Succasunna, N.J. She was 91 years old.

Born on July 13, 1921 in Meriden, Conn., to the late Everett and Edna Mae Pilling, Natalie resided in Coventry, Conn., and St. Augustine, Fla., prior to moving to the Succasunna section of Roxbury Township, N.J., in 2010.

Natalie was a homemaker and loved flowers. She was a Master Flower Show Judge with the National Garden Club where she was a lifetime member. Natalie raised geraniums on a wholesale and retail scale.

Devoted wife of the late Laurier, loving mother of Cynthia Flaherty of Landing, N.J., and Leanne Moran and husband, Barry of Coventry, Conn., adoring grandmother of Aimee Flaherty, Sean Flaherty and his wife, Jessica, Kelly Moran, Craig Moran and the late Kathleen Flaherty. Also surviving are two great-grandchildren.

Cremation services were conducted privately under the direction of Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home of Landing. A memorial graveside service will be conducted by the family in Coventry, Conn., at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Natalie"s memory to a charity of your choice.
