As a young man, Matthew was a member of the Elks in Hartford and he was also an avid bowler and belonged to several leagues. While living in Bloomfield, he was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in Bloomfield. Besides his wife, he leaves two sons, Matthew C. Couloute, Jr. and his wife Lauren of Bloomfield, and Michael A. On behalf of President/Chief Administrator David Eustis and the entire Northwest Catholic High School community, I offer my deepest sympathy on the passing of Matthew Couloute.

Because his children, the late Michelle Couloute-Richardson '84, Matthew Couloute '88 and Michael Couloute '89, are cherished members of our school family, we feel that their father was, too, and we mourn his death along with all those who love him.

Please know that we are holding all of Matthew's family very close to our hearts this week, and that we will include him on the prayer list at our next school-wide Mass. We are very sorry for your loss.
