WEED, Benjamin "Tim" Benjamin "Tim" Weed, 55, of Woodstock, died Tuesday, (August 1, 2006) in his home. He was born in Stamford on October 23, 1950, the son of Richard and Esther (Mead) Weed of Woodstock. He graduated from Woodstock Academy and the University of Connecticut College of Agriculture and Natural Resources. He was employed by Fairview Farms in Woodstock for 18 years. In addition to his parents he is survived by his son, Sean Weed and his wife Melanie of North Windham and their child Taylor; a sister, Betsy Dietz of Illinois and her two children Suzann and Justin. He was predeceased by a sister, Susan (Weed) Sherman. His family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. Rte. 195, Willimantic on Saturday from 1-3 p.m. Funeral and burial will be private.
