I knew William briefly towards the end of his life I met him in New London when I was around 21 years old and I was struggling at the time he let me use one of his computers to find a job at the casino and learn of other employment around the New London area he showed me Incredible movies that I never would have seen otherwise and also showed me some of his controversial work and studies that he did and I was amazed to find out that there is a huge population that also was interested in his later subjects I'm sad to have just found out that he has passed when I was looking him up to reunite he was a great person generous very smart and humble unless you wanted to have a debate LOL

I regret that the paths we take lead us so far away from each other, and sometimes never merge. Time cannot erase my fondest memories of his VW Bug, stripped to hold a ton of newspapers. Memories of the antics in the barn, the practical jokes on each other, and the endless debates will never fade.

I knew Will when we were classmates at Mills. He was intellectual first, industrious second, and philosophical. I lost touch after our youth, but I am proud to have been his friend, and envious of his accomplishments.

I guess none of us have words that can really console you, Nancy, but it may help to know that many of us wish we could offer you comfort.

I'm so sorry to hear of your brother's passing, Nancy. I never met him, but I know he must have been a wonderful man, because he comes from such a great family. Thinking of you and yours.

I am shocked and saddened by Will's sudden death. Though we had never met in person, we struck up a close friendship via email. He was fiercely idealistic, tenacious in his moral principles, a loving friend, and a sweet soul. I will miss him greatly.
