Enrico Del Puppo Obituary

Enrico Giacomo Del Puppo, 49, of Grasonville, MD, died on Friday, (July 20, 2001) at the Memorial Hospital in Easton, MD. Born in Montreal, Canada on January 6, 1952, he was the son of Giuseppe and Suzanne Del Puppo. He was also the son-in-law of Ned and DeeDee Lemieux. After graduating from South Catholic High School in Hartford in 1969, and then the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis in 1973, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps until 1978. He returned to school and received his M.B.A. from the University of Connecticut in 1983. He was employed by Celeste Industries in Easton as vice-president of Sales and Marketing, where he worked for the past 15 years. Mr. Del Puppo was a member, layreader, and chalisist for both St. Luke's Chapel and Old Wye Parish. He was also a recent member of the Maryland Chapter of Harley Owners Group. In addition to his wife, Mary Lemieux Del Puppo of Grasonville, MD, whom he married on June 16, 1973, he is survived by two sons, Tony Del Puppo and Joe Del Puppo, both of Grasonville, MD; a daughter, Genna Del Puppo of Grasonville, MD; a brother, Dario Del Puppo and his wife, Giuliana of Hartford, both of whom are professors at Trinity College; a nephew, Luca Del Puppo; a niece, Lucia Del Puppo; and two brothers-in-law, Bill Lemieux of Florida, and Jim Lemieux of Ohio. Memorial services will be held at the Old Wye Parish in Wye Mills on Tuesday, July 24, at 10 a.m. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Midshore Community Foundation, Inc., c/o Enrico Del Puppo, 125 Bay Street, Easton, MD 21601.
