Dear Marie,
I just now learned of Dick’s passing and I am heartbroken that I was not at his services to express the love and respect that he truly deserved from me. I saw Dick’s Cadillac at Procaccini’s on Thursday, April 21st but when I went back to see him he had already left. I was very lucky to share the same work space with Dick and we became very close friends. He was simply amazing. He had the longest, biggest memory! As a P&W employee he was valued and respected as the one person who always had an answer. EVERYONE would go to Dick to ask questions and solve problems whether it was yesterday or 30 years ago, he knew the answer. He remembered the names of every member of my family and was a great listener. No matter how bad of a day I was having, Dick’s wit and sense of humor always cheered me up. When I started driving to NYC several years ago Dick gave me an alarm for my key chain because he worried about me being alone. Whenever he spotted NY Yankee trinkets he would buy them and leave them on my desk to suprise me. In fact the NY Yankee Teddy Bear is sitting right here in front of me. Dick was a true gentleman and I could write all day about his consistent gentle nature that he had shown to everyone he knew and he knew EVERYONE. Dick’s love for you, Rick, Lucuille and RJ was one of his greatest assets. You were the light of his life and I can’t imagine how difficult it will be without him. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Sincerely yours,

To the family of Dick Wrzos- I am very sorry for your loss. I worked briefly with Dick at Pratt and Whitney in Maintenance Engineering and feel extremely fortunate to have known Dick. I found that he was a truly kind, funny, genuine person - who enjoyed sharing his great knowledge of pratt engines with others.

I worked with Dick over the years and always found him to be extremely knowledgeable in Configuration Management an excellent employee in general. He'll certainly be missed!

If ever there was someone who epitomized the image of a large, gentle teddy bear, it was Dick. I worked with Dick at P&W for many years and was fortunate to be one of his supervisors. He always was willing to assist someone who did not quite understand our work, and he never had an unkind word about anyone. At the time of his retirement, Dick was missed from the Configuration Management group and was missed especially for his unbelievable depth of knowledge on P&W's JT8D engine.
Marie and family, you may rest easy knowing that God has called home your gentle giant of a husband and father. Pratt & Whitney appreciates your sharing Dick with all those he touched while he worked.

To the Wrzos Family, I worked with Dick for many years at Pratt & Whitney. He was the change writer for the engine program I worked on, so we had a great deal of contact. He was always so helpful and I don't ever remember him losing his patience with me, the new kid on the block.
May you find comfort in knowing how many lives he touched. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Sincerely,
Kathy (Bator) Sumislaski

They sure don't make em' like Dick anymore. Dick was a truly great person who genuinly cared about you. He had a great love for his son and his wife and RJ's birth was a proud moment. I will always remember the ride in his 34' and his love for cars. May God's light shine upon him and his family.
Sincerely;
Ed Gervasi

Dear Marie, Rick and Family. Very sorry for the loss of Richard. I worked with him for many years, and we shared many stories, particularly about cars. Dick located my Corvette for me in the early '90s when Rick was buying his new Camaro. He is famous for his Cadillacs, his
great memory and for bring a true friend. If you needed help or some information, you would check with Dick. He will be missed by many.
