Robert Goryl Obituary

GORYL, Robert A. Robert A. Goryl, 75, passed away Tuesday, (September 12, 2006). Bob was an accomplished artist with extraordinary talent whose paintings are admired by many. Bob studied at Norwich Free Academy and Cambridge School of Design. He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict. Bob followed his own course on life's journey and took a route not often traveled. A great lover of animals of all kinds, he, in the company of many and varied pets, sought solitude in the woods of Hanover, where he made his home. Bob leaves his sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Dante Beffa-Negrini; a brother-in-law, Ted Satkowski, all of Staffordville; a niece, Lynn Pariseau of Westfield, MA; a nephew, Rev. Richard Satkowski of Holland, MA; and many other relatives, caring friends and neighbors. He was predeceased by his sister, Lorraine Satkowski. Friends are invited to gather graveside for a funeral service on Wednesday, September 20, 1 p.m. at the Connecticut State Veterans Cemetery, Bow Lane, Middletown, CT. There are no calling hours.
