Albert Brusseau Obituary

Albert A. Brusseau, 78, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2019 surrounded by his loved ones after battling many health issues.He leaves behind 5 children, Scott Brusseau and his wife, Deborah of Montville, Doreen Brusseau of East Hampton, Bryan Brusseau and his wife Benedetta of New York, Wendy Brusseau and Kevin Trageser of Middletown, and Keith Brusseau of Texas, 9 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.Al was an Army veteran where for the past 7 years resided at the Rocky Hill State Veterans home. There he met many fellow veterans and nurses. During his time in the Army, he was stationed in numerous places including Germany.Throughout his life, he met many and left his mark behind. He had several careers, but his love of sports landed him a career in professional baseball which he loved. He was dedicated to his New England Sports Teams. Those who know Al couldn't help but love him. May he R.I.P.Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 23 at 10:00 am at Levitow Health Center Chapel @ State Veterans' Home, 287 West Street, Rocky Hill. Burial will follow in the Swedish Cemetery in Portland where full military honors will be accorded.Calling hours will be from 9:00 to 10:00am in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations in Al's memory may be made to Department of Veterans' Affairs Recreation, 287 West Street, Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
