Thomas Edison Obituary

Thomas A. "Tee" Edison, 49, of Springfield, MA, died unexpectedly Monday (September 2, 2002). He was born April 12, 1953 in Hartford, son of Ethel (Edison) Francis and the late Willie L. Edison. He attended Hartford schools, and was employed by the Dunhill Agency. Besides his mother, he leaves three daughters, Nicole and Rasha Edison of Hartford and Asia Winfield of Rhode Island; fiancee, Linda Johnson of Springfield, MA; five brothers, Charles A. Suell and Ronald Edison of Hartford, Willie Edison of Florida, Alexander Edison of New York, and Eddie Edison of Arizona; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Louise Edison and Edward Brown, Judi (Francis) Betts and Gene Betts, all of Hartford, Beverly (Francis) Ward and Keith Ward of West Hartford. He is also survived by a sister-in-law, Margaret Edison of Hartford; five grandchildren; and three special cousins, John and Louise Murray, Mae Robinson; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by a brother, Mack Edison. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 9, 1 p.m., with calling hour 12 Noon, at the FUQUA Funeral Service Chapel, 94 Granby St., Bloomfield. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery, Bloomfield.

My condolences go out to the entire Edison family.It has been a long time since those Enfield street days, but I remember them just like it was yesterday. I will never forget Thomas and we (the King family) will keep you all in our prayers. God Bless
