Stuart J. Edison

Stuart J. Edison, 68, of Marlborough, died Saturday, October 18, 2025, at UMass Memorial Marlborough
Hospital.
He was the son of the late Thomas and Florence (Greenwood) Edison.
Stuart was born on July 27, 1957 in Weymouth, MA. Stuart, along with his seven siblings, was raised in
East Boston. He married his wife Eleanor (Tulimieri) in 1978. They started a family shortly after while
living in Waltham, before later settling in Marlborough.
Along with his wife Eleanor, Stuart is survived by his children, Jessica Smith and her husband Jamie of
Templeton, MA, and David Edison and his wife Kristina of Hudson, MA. He also leaves his four cherished
grandsons, Jamison and Jackson Smith and Cameron and Mason Edison. He is survived by one sister,
Sharon (Edison) Lannon of East Boston, as well as several nieces and nephews. Stuart was predeceased
by his four brothers, Stanley Edison, Scott Edison, Spencer Edison, and Sterling Edison, and two sisters,
Sandra Edison and Susan (Edison) Rock Smith.
Visiting hours for Stuart will be held on Monday, October 27, 2025, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Slattery
Funeral Home, Inc., 40 Pleasant Street, Marlborough, MA 01752. A private burial will be held at a later
date.
