John Jeffrey Obituary
JOHN PAUL JEFFREY, 76, of Ona, WV, passed away November 7, 2025 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Mark Finley. Graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Masonic services will be conducted by Minerva Lodge No. 13, A.F. & A.M., Barboursville.
He was born January 30, 1949, in Huntington, a son of the late Newman and Leva Johnson Jeffrey. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a retired employee of CSX Transportation.
He was preceded in death by his son-in-law, James Hall. He is survived by his wife, Alberta Cremeans Jeffrey; one daughter, Frances Hall of Ona; one sister, Judy Warfield of Little Hocking, Ohio; one brother, Jerry Jeffrey and Pama of Barboursville; and special great-niece, Ryleigh Bradshaw.
Visitation will be from Noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family for his great-niece Ryleigh.
