My thoughts are with Toby´s family at this anniversary of his passing. His earthly life was a blessing to those of us who were privileged to know him. My memories of Toby are filled with respect for a great man of God.

I first came to know Toby when he played center for the Silliman College football team which I coached when he was a Yale udergrad and I was a Yale Law student. He was skillfull, committed and fierce, as well as a helluva nice guy. Our paths dis not cross again until years later when a client of mine needed a lawyer for a condemnation matter in Tampa. I called on Toby and, needless to say, received first class results and attention from him and his firm. My sincere condolences go to his family, associates and friends.

Toby was among the top three most unique men I have ever known. I discovered were distant cousins, a subject that brought us together telephonically two years ago. I loved his humor, his intellect, his Christian perspective, his devotion to family and loyalty to our friendship. He had daring business vision and took on challenges other would see as impossible. His competitive spirit destined him to be a success.
Every visit with Toby was always memorable.
He was one of the most generous men I’ve ever known. The church community, the city and Dade County and beyond will miss him.
RIP my friend.

Toby Brigham was an extraordinary human being. My husband was honored to work for his firm for 11 years. He was brought on initially to work closely with Toby and learned a great deal from his mentor.
As a young associate’s wife, I found Toby to be a godly man who sought to glorify the Lord in all that he did. He and his family graciously welcomed ours and included us in many family gatherings and events while we were in Miami, to the point that we felt like “honorary Brighams”. He was always kind to our children and put them at ease with his award-winning smile and sense of humor.
The love and adoration that he had for Kay was beautiful to behold. As much as the family will miss their beloved father and grand-father, I am sure it is comforting to know that Toby and Kaye are together again.
I am grateful for the time that Toby invested in my husband, for the kindness and love he showed to our family, for his godly example and leadership in the firm. Out family truly loved this wonderful man and was blessed by him greatly. He will forever be revered in our hearts and upheld as an example worthy to emulate, both professionally and personally.
We will be lifting up the Brigham family in prayer, as well as all who loved Toby.
With much love,
Laura Melton Natirboff

My sincere condolences go out to Toby's family.
Toby was extraordinary in all respects. I was lucky to have had the privilege to work with him for many years - I admired him in every respect. What I will always hold dear is the guiding light that he became for me - professionally and otherwise.
I miss him dearly.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the BRIGHAM family. I knew Toby for over 65 years. Our families were members of Old Cutler Presbyterian Church. The knowledge that Toby is now in the presence of our Lord is a source of great comfort. Janie Hilton

Toby was such a special person. I knew him and Kay and Ed and Dana well and always looked up to him. It makes me sad that we have never lived close enough for me to get to know you, his and Kay's " children" and grandchildren. But I know of you and cannot imagine you apples having fallen far from the family tree. My wife, Jane, and I send you our love and pray for God's comfort for you in this time of loss.

Toby Brigham was a cornerstone of the Coral Gables High School Class of 1952---a fine class.
And he went on from there to be a standout scholar, lawyer, family man businessman, civic leader and spiritual inspiration. A figure worthy of emulation in all the departments of life he so enriched.
We classmates were truly blessed to have had the good fortune of knowing him through our wonderful and formative four-year journey through "Gables High." However good or bad we might have turned out had we not known Toby, we are assuredly better for having known him.
Can a brief reflection on Toby ever do justice to the man himself? No---there was too much substance. But perhaps we can try, despite our weak command of mere words, produce a sketch of our magnificent high school buddy.
He was a Renaissance man---a skilled athlete, a serious scholar, a man of great compassion and a generous friend of the humanities. Still, he was a fun-loving "hail-fellow-well-met," and at the same time a consummate gentleman and a model of chivalry. His unlimited capacity for empathy made him a prized friend , always true and loyal. To borrow from a very old TV commercial, it could truly b said "nobody doesn't like Toby." ( A remarkable truth in high school years when factions can form and dissolve in the blink of an eye!)
What a pleasure and a blessing it is to have known Toby Brigham (given, of course that the meeting didn't take place while attempting to crash through Toby the football center to tackle his quarterback.)
We loved him. And we do now. He knew he would be reunited with his beloved Kay, and we know that the the reunion was a joyous one. God bless them both and may he comfort their loving family members who remain with us for now.
