Mr. Wagener, was my high school science teacher at Belen Jesuit Prep in the early 1990s and even after many more years of education, including at major national universities, Mr. Wagener was still one of, if not the best teacher I ever had. I have never come across a more devoted educational professional or a more genuinely caring person. My classmates from Belen's Class of 1994 and I are deeply saddened by the loss of this exceptional man.
