Eilzabeth Scally

Elizabeth Alvia "Ann" Scally, age 77, went to meet our Lord on July 8, 2017, after a brief illness. She was surrounded by her loving family.
No funeral is planned; however, the family is planning a Lily memorial garden in the spring at the home of Claude and Bridgett Scally. In lieu of flowers, Ann would have wanted everyone who loved her to remember those who mean the world to you fiercely, and always make an effort, with our busy lives, to have a connection with your loved ones.
"Nanny" will always be remembered as the most giving and loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. Doing for others and being a caretaker seemed to be her life's calling. She took care of both friends and family during illness and eventually passing. Ann and her soulmate, Wayne "Poppy" Scally, were married just shy of 61 years and raised a beautiful family. Her and Wayne's faith helped them through some dark times and losses in their lives.
Ann was the backbone and the glue of the tight-knit Scally family, who will continue her legacy of love and family. She enjoyed gardening, The Young and the Restless, HGTV, The Food Network, and her Texas Rangers. Ann made an impact on everyone who was fortunate enough to be her friend or family, and she will never be forgotten. She was an excellent cook, who made the holiday meals a spectacular event.
Ann is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Leon Shilling and Irene McBride Shilling; her children, Terry Wayne Scally, Sherry Renee Morrison, and Kevin Wayne Scally; and her brothers, Bobby Shilling, Steve Shilling, and Melvin Shilling.
Ann is survived by her husband, Claude "Wayne" Scally; daughter, Debbie Grover and husband, Brian; sons, Bobby Scally and wife, Christine, Claude Scally and wife, Bridgett, and Thomas Leon Scally; grandchildren, Michael Morrison and wife, Jen, Peter Wayne Carr and wife, Ashley, Nick Di-Bello and wife, Brittney, Kaci Dunn and husband, Logan, Brandon Morrison, Ashton Sca-lly, Morgan Carr and Nick Fiorenza, Colton Scally and husband, Josh Hargrave, Meagan Scally and Allison Dorn, Stanton Scally and Darian Pavelka, Keighly York and husband, Nick; great grandchildren, Nolan Carr, Nicholas DiBello, Linley Dunn, Layden Dunn, Landri Dunn, Levigh Dunn, and Peighton York.
