I just read about Dick's passing. I am in shock that he is gone. He was my mentor and friend for many years. I wanted to let his family know how special he was to me and that I am so sorry for the hole that was left in so many lives with his passing. He loved all of you so much and told me so many wonderful stories about all of you. My heart goes out to all of you.

We are still missing DIck De Francesco two years after his death. He and his wonderful wife, Donna, were a big part of our lives in Santa Barbara when we were all young. We didn't see them much for a few years but fortunately we were able to connect again when we were older. So glad we had a chance to spend time together to laugh, talk about the old days and plan new adventures.

I was so sad to hear about Dick passing. I had the honor to work with him many years ago - he was a very nice gentleman and well respected.

Donna, Lisa, Katie and family:
Dick was such a great addition to our office and I (and everyone) loved working with him. He was always cracking jokes and smiling. He loved and was so proud of each of you and the grandchildren. I looked forward to hearing about your accomplishments via the stories that he warmly and openly shared. I am lucky to have considered him a friend. Lots of love and sympathy to everyone in your family. He will be missed by so many. Holly Warren
