Ursula Stocke, age 43 passed away peacefully on June 14, 2013 at home
surrounded by love and with her husband of 10 years
Ronald D. Stocke.
Born in Anchorage, AK on December 29, 1969, Ursula was a graduate of Burnsville High School in 1988 and
received a Bachelors or Fine Arts from the College of
Visual Arts in St. Paul Minnesota. She lived in several states finally settling in Washington state, where she met her husband, Ron. They purchased a home In
Everett, Washington and lived there for over seven years. There they collaborated in life and love.
Ursula was an accomplished artist and teacher, who was respected by her peers and students. She loved travel. With her husband Ron she had traveled to the UK, Europe, Hawaii and throughout the United States. Ursula was curious, excited and open minded about life and was a
positive influence on her friends and community. She left behind friends around the globe, touching almost
everyone she met. She was a true masterpiece.
She is survived by her husband, Ron Stocke of Everett, WA; her mother, Connie Gelting of Minnesota; her father and step-mother, Brian and Fely Gelting of Alaska; her brother, Jeff Gelting of Seattle, WA; her aunt, Evyonne Axely and the Axely family; the Gelting family; Ketola, Cole, Ford and Starr families.
The celebration of Life will be held at the Trinity Lutheran Church 2324 Lombard Ave. Everett, WA 98201 on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with reception to follow.
Ursula's family would like to say thank you to the all the members at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, Providence Everett and the Snohomish County hospice.
