Ronald G. Meservey

Ronald G. Meservey, 73, of Granite Falls, WA, passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2007. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
He is survived by his children, Niles L. Meservey and his wife Debbie, of Stanwood, WA, Bernard G. Meservey and his wife Judy, of Syracuse, UT, Susan A. Strietz and her husband, Athan, of Snohomish, WA.
He also is survived by his mother, Margarett M. Farrell; sister, Marlene J. Wolf, of Lake Stevens, WA; along with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Ronald G. Meservey was a career serviceman in the U.S. Navy for 23 years. (Master chief Radioman) He later worked for GTE Co. for approximately 12 years. In the 30 years of living in Granite Falls, WA, he was very involved and enjoyed membership, ranks, and positions of the American Legion, 40 and 8's, VFW and the Eagles Organizations. He will be greatly missed by all.
Services will be held at 3 p.m., Friday, May 11, 2007, at the American Legion Cemetery. A Remembrance gathering, directly following after at the American Legion in Granite Falls. There will be a viewing for those who wish to attend on the evening of Thursday, May 10, 2007, between 5-8 p.m., at Purdy & Walters with Cassidy, 1702 Pacific Avenue, Everett, WA.
