Robert Osborne NeelyBROOKLYN, N.Y. - Mr. Robert Osborne Neely, 63, died Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014, at his home in Brooklyn, N.Y. Rob shall be remembered as a friend to us all. He was a gentle sole! His friend . . . . .

Rob and I became fast friends when we met in Washington, DC where we both worked for Congressman Tom S. Gettys. We also shared an apartment on Capitol Hill as well as many, many friends. All of us had a wonderful, youthful experience on Capitol Hill sharing laughter and late night political discussions. One memorable moment was when the circus came to town and in the wee hours of the morning we all watched from our 3rd Street apartment as the elephants where walked down the street from the train. I miss already Rob, love, Deba (Dunn) Palma

Bobby was a very good friend of mine growing up in the 60's. He was a kind and caring person with a great sense of humor. I was so sorry to learn of his passing. My sincere condolences to his family.
