Jasper Griggs Obituary
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Wolfe Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service.
Born in Thomasville, Georgia, Jay was a son of Malinda Hutchison and the late Jasper Willard "J.W." Griggs. He graduated from Oral Roberts University and was employed with XPO (Logistics). He enjoyed golfing, watching his children play sports and exercised with F-3 work out group.
Surviving are his wife of 16 years, Christine Higgins Griggs; two children, Katie and Will Griggs of the home; his brother, Jeremi Griggs of Brentwood, Tenn.; and three sisters, Jennifer Sutton and Kris Griggs, both of Franklin, Tenn. And Karla Griggs of Savannah, Georgia. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.

I met Jay when He was dating my Niece Christine. They eventually married and through our many conversations. I really felt the warmth, love he had for his family. There are no proper word to say when such a devastating loss occurs. We can only seek comfort in the way Jay loved and lived. To Christine, Katie and Will you will always carry Jay s memories in your ❤ . He will be watching over you all. To All of Jays Family my sincere condolences.
