Fort Mill, South Carolina - Mr. Jerry Thorn 65, passed away Friday, February 26. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 3, 1:00 to 5:00 pm at Gilmore Mortuary Chapel, 401 W. Sugar Creek Rd.. Charlotte, NC 28213. Live Stream video will be on Face Book at (Cuthrell Media Group). Graveside Services will be private. Services are entrusted to Gilmore Mortuary of Charlotte, NC.

I will miss Jerry alot. He enjoyed my company everytime we got together at reunions. He made me laugh and always checked up on me. I will miss him dearly. I will miss his voice but i know hes watching over us and me. RIP Jerry

I want to Thank God for the life of Jerry Jerome Thorn he will surely be missed. Jerry was humble, soft spoken, kind spirited, well mannered and faithful to his family and friends. God needed another gardener, landscaper and caregiver so he called his obedient servant on home. I used to have to huge vegetable gardens in Charlotte and I could always count on cousin Jerry to help me out when I got overwhelmed. Jerry would come to Charlotte and help me weed the garden, dig up sweet potatoes and pick okra for his sister Ollie. Jerry didn't need any instructions he only needed to know the agenda. To the Thorn, Lane and Potts Families: May the life Jerry lived speak for him, May God Bless You And Keep You, Praise God
