Wilma June Miller, 67, passed away February 9, 2021. She was born April 19, 1953 in Elkhart, Indiana to the late Verton and Lydia (Schrock) Gingerich.
Wilma came to Sarasota in 1979 from Goshen, Indiana and was a homemaker, waitress, teacher and elderly caregiver. She was a gifted artist and enjoyed painting, writing and reading.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 48 years, Reuben; children, Rod Miller and his wife Jessica; Wynette Nolt and her husband Brendan; Randy Miller and his wife Jenn; and Reggie Miller; siblings, Florence Ard and her husband Ron; Glen Gingerich and his wife Elsie; Ruby Bontrager and her husband Jerry; Dot Chupp and her husband Larry; and Ellen Graber and her husband Sheldon; grandchildren, Grayden, Rowen, Jeremiah, Ben, Sam, Joanna, Kaelin, Reece, Avery and Zahra.
She was predeceased by her still born brother, Robert.
Visitations will be Saturday, February 13, 2021 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Palm Grove Mennonite Church, 1087 Beneva Road, Sarasota, Florida 34232 and Sunday from 2:00 to 3:00 pm at Bethel Mennonite Church, 2985 Bethel Lane, Sarasota, Florida 34240. Funeral service will begin at 3:00 followed by interment at Bethel Mennonite Cemetery. Memories and condolences may be left online at www.MFHcares.com.
