My deepest condolences to Ednah's family.
Ednah was the first author I found, who interacted with her readers to the extent she did. She asked for our opinions, shared secrets with us, and made us feel part of her writing process.
Meeting her was a highlight of my life, and I will forever consider her a friend.
She also did more to promote new writers than most authors ever do.
She was truly a star, and I will miss her.
All of my love to her,
Karen Metcalf

I knew Isabel as Ednah, through the Runes Kindle World project. I loved working with her and getting to know her. We bonded over lacrosse, lol. Her loss has rocked the publishing world, and my world. Much love to her family. She talked of her children often and her love for them permeated everything she did. She will be so, so missed.

She was loved so dearly and will be missed. But we will be strong knowing your in a better place and in so making this place a better one in your memory. Your books got me into reading more and because of dyslexia it has been hard, but you made it fun. And i thank you for that. Rest in peace.

For Ednah's (Isabel) Family,
Your Isabel is my Ednah. I met Ednah through the book world. We connected instantly. I loved her books, and she knew me from the blogging world.
I actually knew very little about her private life, but I am ok with that. Some authors keep their work and private life separate. I am learning more and more about my friend and it makes me only more proud of knowing her. I am in awe of her every single day!
I am still in saddened shock by the loss of her. I just recently spoke with her. She had just completed her package to her adopted soldier. She was so proud this.
We used to chat on FB, and I would ask her questions about her characters after I would finish one of her books, just to keep the story going. We would have so much fun!
To you, her family, I cannot imagine what you are going through at this time. The sudden loss of anyone is such a shock, but to lose someone as amazing as Ednah/Isabel is an injustice to anyone that has ever come across her path. Please know that her fans loved her not only because she could tell a good story, but because she was an amazing person. Her passion was palatable, and she put a piece of herself in every story she ever wrote. My heart goes out to her children. Ednah Walters will live on forever in the stories she wrote, and the characters and worlds she created. My love to you in this time of grief, and my prayers of peace.
