I am so sorry about her passing and for the pain her family is feeling.

I learnt about this yesterday and I was in shock; both Maureen and I are still in shock. We will always remember you. May the Lord comfort Mike and the children and keep them whole. Rest In Peace Nyar-Aleke.

I remember the movie days and nights in Eldoret, you would say" make sure you have lots of hankies, I am bringing some sad movies, we shall cry and cry. Bella, I have cried since I learnt of your demise. There won't be closure for me. Nind gi kwe osiepna.

My deepest condolences to Ednah's family.
Ednah was the first author I found, who interacted with her readers to the extent she did. She asked for our opinions, shared secrets with us, and made us feel part of her writing process.
Meeting her was a highlight of my life, and I will forever consider her a friend.
She also did more to promote new writers than most authors ever do.
She was truly a star, and I will miss her.
