Irvin Nielsen Obituary

Irvin Craig Nielsen
April 2, 1951 - April 24, 2019
Irvin Craig Nielsen passed away suddenly but quietly in his home in Logan, Utah. Craig was born in Idaho Falls Idaho on April 2, 1951, to Gay Patricia Veatch and Irvin Wendell Nielsen.
He is survived by his siblings Robert Nielsen, Tab Nielsen, Nancy Nielsen, Frank Veatch; his children Anthony Carter, Timothy Carter, Cindy Maughan (Jeff), Cara Nielsen (Paul), and Misty Buttorff (Jefferson); and his numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Craig had may careers over his lifetime including mechanic, electrician, and security guard; but he was most proud of his service with the Cache County Sheriff Department where he served for 20 years. He was a man moved to service in his own way. He was a friend of Bill W. and celebrated that friendship for 20 years.
He taught his family to love the outdoors, and the importance of spending time with family without distractions. He is best recognized for his highly decorated big red truck. He was beloved by friends and family, and will be sorely missed.
Craig's life will be celebrated on Friday, May 3, 2019, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Allen Hall Mortuary 34 East Center St. The memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m.
