Mary Hildreth Obituary

Mary A. Hildreth age 72, of Holland, died Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at her home surrounded by her children and close family friend, Jim DeGraaf.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim in 2016, her parents, Kenneth and Miriam Harmsen, her brother, David Harmsen and a sister-in-law, Judith Hildreth.
Mary dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren. She and her husband raised their children in the Jenison area and volunteered their time in many of the activities the family was involved with while growing up. She eventually worked part-time as an administrative assistant in various local companies in the west Michigan area. Family traditions were extremely important to Mary. Mary enjoyed spending time at the cottage in Holland and hosting get togethers for family and friends. She cherished those moments. After moving full-time to the Holland area, Mary attended Calvary Baptist Church.
Mary is survived by her children, Kelly and Scott Dogger of Holland, Brandon and Linda Hildreth of Allendale; 10 grandchildren, Kiersten(Levi) Coatney, Steven Dogger, Tori(Zach) Johnston, Jason Dogger, Cameron Dogger, Brianna Mayo, Grant Hildreth, Hannah Mayo, Marissa Hildreth, Emilee Mayo; in-laws, Sharon and Bob Gilman of Holland and William Hildreth of Hudsonville.
A family graveside service will be held on Monday, May 4, 2020 at Pilgrim Home Cemetery with Dr. Trent Broussard officiating. Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Lemmen-Holton Cancer Pavilion of Spectrum Health. The family is being served by Langeland-Sterenberg Funeral Home.
